If a person is significantly overweight, do their organs enlarge?

Question: I've always wondered if an overweight person's organs enlarged to keep them from moving around, or if the extra fat kept them in place.

Answers:
The stomach, kidneys and bladder can become enlarged due to problems such as inflammation. So technically, yes, organs can "grow" due to complications arising from obesity.
