Hi, i keep having spliner like virtical lines apperaring under my fingernails..........?

and thumbnails, i was just wondering if anybody had any ideas on what these were, i have been told that it might be damage to my nails but i know that it is not this as they just appear overnight, anybody that has the same thing or knows what this maybe please let me know. Thanks in advance for your answers.

This occurs when you are slightly run down or have a diet that is deficient in calcium.This happens to me making my nails brittle and easy to break.
Multivitamins are good and a glass of milk or cheese works wonders but a good balanced diet is better in the long run.

if you smoke tar can build up under the nail if you dont smoke you could have nail fungus your nail are dead hair foliculs anyway take care of them
