Well our fingers have names (pinky, ring, middle, index, and thumb <<finger or not??) but our toes actually don't have a name at all, they all look the same and do basically the same thing... i searched it on wikipedia! they have numbers though (there is the big/great toe and then 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th (5th being the little piggy that ran all the way home ((i think)))
toes [and fingers] THEMSELVES are actually called phalanges. You call them phalanges of the toes/fingers... tarsals are actually the small bones of the ankle and foot. In humans these are the talus, calcaneus, navicular, cuboid, and three cuneiforms. ...but I don't really get what you meant by the question but I have given you both answers!

Your big toe is called the "great toe" and the rest are just numbered as 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th toes (the 5th toe being your pinky toe). I am a medical transcriptionist for an orthopaedist.

Well, while they all perform special functions, they are still all named piggy. Ex. This little piggy went to market, this little piggy stayed home... But, they are all Piggy.
