How do u fade a mark from being scalded by steam?
Question:
Answers:
How long have you had the mark/ what condition was your skin previously in, etc.? These issues should probably be taken into account.
I scalded myself by spilling an entire cup of hot tea down my front and in essence (due to the way a female is built), I had scalded a big, red cross onto my chest. I held ice on it for about 5 hours the first night and then a few hours the next day.
I used Mary Kay's Nighttime Emollient cream on it at least once a day. I thought I was going to be scarred with a big cross on my chest for the rest of my life, but I used the cream faithfully and within a month, you couldn't tell I had been burnt at all.
Here's the website for the cream:

It's a pink, greasy cream, and some people tell you not to put something like that on a burn, but I had very good results. It's up to you.
