Do lifting weights as a teen really stunt your growth?

Question:
And does that count for all weights like dumbells and shoulder press? Or is it only benching?

Answers:
There is nothing proven in science that says that weights stunt your growth. However; at 14 I would suggest that you don't lift more than 3 times a week and do other excercises such as basketball and such. At 14 your bones are still growing thus are more prone to injury.
Yes it does, but I wouldn't be able to tell you which exercises are at fault. I imagine one of them is squat.
