£3,000

In UK it seems to be a max of around £3k-£3 1/2K Depends on the insurer of both vehicles and the judge and wether whiplash actually exists legally anymore as technicallly if you have a head restraint you cant get whiplash - if you removed the head restraint and get it the legal cause is removing the restrain - i.e. your fault.

my partner was in hospital with 2 broken legs, broken arm spin damage and a Fiesta that was the size of a fridge after an accident (stationary ran into back of by lorry). result - injuries £400 and car £3000 less than the replacement value.

Insurer = Budget

I hate this compensation culture. You came out of it with your life. Be darned grateful. there are many variables involved such as the type of work you do, having a family, house, you can have future problems that can cause you to have surgery. i've seen 10 grand and the medical is extra but you have attorneys costs to over a million. it depends on how good the attorney is, the jury and how they are affected. most whiplash last alone time with the person in the neck brace. the more the medical cost and any surgeries will bring larger amounts. if you have just 4 weeks of recovery and 2 weeks of to go back to work. expect a low amount.
