Hi im a orthopaedic plaster technician so we deal with these sort off problems all the time, your sons elbow will take time to get bck to normal muscles,ligaments,nerves,tissu... all takes time to adjust and return to normal, the stiffness and your sons not being able to bend hes elbow will return but may take up to 6-8wks,did your son have further physio for hes elbow to get te movement bck ? Physio needs to be done gently and not to be rushed as you wont get no where doing it quick,it also helps doing physio in water in the bath or maybe going swimming.Sometimes children and adults dont get there full movement thou, this all depends how bad the dislocation was also how bad the tissues, muscles etc were torn.Go see your GP or consultant if you are still worried,im sure he will be ok in a 6-8wks time.

I did mine a few years back, you do get full movement back again, they just go a little stiff for a while through being immobilised while they heal (hence physio)
If he chipped the bones in his elbow there could be a problem though. I chipped mine and as the bone healed it grew into a lump, this growth sometimes locks the joint out. It sucks but I gotta live with it, If he's got no pain though it's a good sign. hope it helps :)
Until he becomes brave enough to keep working on it, until it is straight He is a bit afraid to see how far it can go but, each day should show some improvement. If he goes as far as he can go and then seeing if it will go just a little bit more. This is what the physio-therapist would usually do for him.. Extend it a bit more than your son will do by himself.
could take a yr or so if any problems the Dr at hospital will tell you please do not worry
keep working it over and over this is to help him not be the way it is now,
been it and work it and get it back to the way it was,if he don't hurt this is good but keep beening it and working it and things will get back
the way it was soon like about two or three months.
