What happens to amputated limbs at the hospital?

Question:
Hospitals amputate limbs all of the time. What is done with a leg or arm that is removed from a person for medical purposes?

Answers:
They are snet to the hosp morgue, which is really creepy to see them on the shelf. If the person dies it is sent with their body to funeral home.

If the patients consent they are sometimes used for teaching purposes.

Or, they are cremated, and disposed of as bio hazard waste.
I take them home

:)~
They get burned
