humidity is it better high or low for breathing?
Question:
Answers:
I think it's harder to breath when the humidity is high. The air just feels so thick.

Too high is bad, too low is bad.
Low is better -- high humidity depletes one of fluids and that is not good. I Live in South Africa and if the humidity levels reach over 75% the school kids are sent home.
it's better for me when humidity is low. Last week here in oh. it was at 86%and up. Had to use my inhalers alot.
what i think is that low humidity is comparitively better as i live in a comparitively low humidity zone in india which is around 65% and i totally agree with sparkie
For those with asthma or breathing problems, high humidity is definitely bad news!

A good median is best for me, but I feel air quality is the real key.
Speaking from personal experience. My wife has emphysema and asthma. Living in Houston where the humidity is high year round and then moving to Iowa where the humidity is considerably lower I can tell you that the difference in her ability to breathe in Iowa was such that she could even climb stairs without having to take a blast from her inhaler.
