Yes they are. When you graduate from pharmacy college, you no longer get a bachelor's degree in pharmacy, you get a doctorate's degree.

They know which drugs unteract with others, and HOW.They are a remarkable resource, closer at hand, more accessible - and OFTEN - more readily knowledgeable of NEWLY RELEASED / FDA APPROVED drugs, than are doctors.

Smart as compared to what or whom?? They're probably smarter than you, but not as smart as astrophysicists, or myself!!
