Head Cold Cures?

Question:

For the past couple days I've been having a terrible headcold/allergies. I've tried the usual methods, rest, cold and sinus pills, Vitamin C and such. I Had a big camping trip planned tomorro, does anyone know any quick or "on the go" cures?

I USED TO BE A CHRONIC HEAD Cold SUFFERER, and my mom believed in home remedies cause the stuff in the drug store just didn't work. hmmmm..let me see..try inhaling vicks vapor rub in steaming hot water. if the water gets too cool throw away and repeat if necessary. this trick should help bring down the cold thats lodged in your head and sinus. also there is this tablet called DECOLGEN FORTE, (it's an anti-histamine in a yellow card) let me tell ya, this baby works like that...its drowsy, so that when you fall asleep most of the symptoms are dried up and you start to feel better. well thats it for me, hope u get over that cold, i know how a head cold can b like, been there done that!!!---happy camping hun.bye

Sorry there is no cure for the common cold. Go see your doctor and get a antibiotic shot and perscription. The shot will help get a quick jump on beating your cold/flu.

Have you tried ColdEze? It's a cough drop with an extra shot of Zinc. Supposedly it's supposed to work really well. My stomach can't handle all of the zinc in one so I can't take them but I know people who swear by them.
