Question:
I have had some blood tests and they have come back that my esr level is 26, i have been told it should be between 1 and 12. What symptoms will high esr show as. ie i am always tired is this a side effect of high esr?

Answers:
An elevated esr can have many causes. It could be from having the metalwork taken out of your arm. Sometimes, an elevated esr can be triggered by anemia. One of the classic signs of anemia is being tired. I would talk to your doctor some more about the results and ask for a detailed explaination.
tissue distruction and inflammatory conditions cause high levels if you have artritis in your arm this could cause it
