But doesn't it feel strangely satifising when you blow your nose and it's like someone switched the volume up on your hearing (<"o) LOL

Yes, it's nice. When I feel like all sounds are muted, I just hold my nose closed and shut my mouth and blow, it has the same effect :)

Although it's not as nice when the bubbles from a fizzy drink come up my nose...

After doing this try yawning an this should unblock the ears too,it works for me.

i put vic behind my ears before i go to sleep
and steam with hot water in the winter
helps

sneezing does it as well
but after 10 minutes i'm hot
