Still no referal to another doctor?
Question:
Answers:
dont wait for a referral. Just find a neurologist and go see him, they will be more likely to help. You dont always need a referral to see a specialist.You can ask your insuarance provider for a list of doctors.Your symptoms are very likely to be neurologic, so neurologist would be my first choice to go to; but check your eyes also.

Whoever the doctor you want a referral to is, just make your own appointment with him.
you should have your blood pressure checked..
get a vision test, you may be straining your eyes
you are entitled to a second opinion. If you have insurance, look through their providers and go to a different doctor. Make sure that you get a copy of your medical records from you present doctor. (you can tell them it is for your own personal records.)
evaluation by neurologist for frequent headaches.
youll have to see your family doc first
then have him refer you. if he doesnt, find one who will.
Call a neurologist and try to make an appointment if you tell them your symptoms they may make you an appt, and then call your family doc for the referral. Or go to the ER and request to be seen by a neurologist.
I used to have the same problem. It feels like your brain is going to sleep. My symptoms were being caused by tension headaches. Try using excedrine for tension headaches. Also take time to relax and decompress. Gently massage the back of your neck for about ten minutes. Massaging your temples helps also. Your temples are farther back on your head than most people think. They are not at the corner of your eyes, move your fingers back about one inch. The massaging helped me greatly.
I would say that you should at least have a simple blood test done to rule out something like anemia; how's your blood pressure? The only way I can think of getting any type of referral is if you consider this an "emergency" and go to the ER;
