what would you do if you had drunk bad water from your apartments?

Question: ok this morning i took a pill and had a glass of water with it and after that i took a shower. When i got out of the shower i started to feel noutious (like throwing up). So my boyfriend went to school without me and he came home, his friend asked him what color is your water becuase over here the water is brown and come to find out our water is brown also and it was like that at the time i drunk it my boyfriend's friend was up at the same time i was. but the only thing is i am on my cycle so do i go in to the doctor's office or do i just sit back and see what happens the next day we have a jug of the water just in case but i really want to do something about it because you'll never know i just need an opinion thanks for listening.

Bad water would not make you sick that fast, and didn't you look at it first?
