I've got a great solution for you! My hairdresser used Sea Breeze astringent liberally all over my husband's head after she shampooed and washed it (he has terribly dry, flaky scalp and skin) and ran her fingers through his hair to distribute in around his scalp. It doesn't sound like it would work but it did! It loosens up all the loose dry skin and clears it off your head. Ever since, he hardly ever has any dandruff or dry skin. Use about once per week if it's really bad, or as needed. It won't hurt your hair, quite the opposite, it will help clean off build up from product use. Try it! Hope this helps!

always take a bath 3 times a day and use a Medicated shampoo to remove the Mellasezia which is the root of ur dry scalp This site I buy my shampoo from is awesome.. I use there stuff that makes your hair grow longer faster and makes it healty.. They have all different stuff for any problem I would say to go there.. I use it and wont ever stop..
My husband had something like that happen, he went to a dermatologist and was given a prescription for ..just a second I'll go grab it..
Clobetasol propionate, topical solution for scalp.
It has made a major difference for him. Good Luck.
Head and shoulders it has selinium sulfide, check to make sure your not allergic to sulfa. but so far this works the best for me
