how long does it take to get over having a concussion?

Question: I recently hit my head on the corner of a table. I was feeling funny and saw a DR. I was told I had a concussion( a bruise on the front and the back of my brain) not only do I have a massive head ache, but i also have loss on my left side, i am having problems thinking, focusing, and speeking what i am thiking. i have blured vission in one eye, and over all just dont feel myself. how long should i feel like this, or is this something permaninte?

You should go back to the doctor! It takes up to 14 days to go away and can be excruciatingly painful. Your doctor should have sent you to the hospital.
