Why do doctors never give a straight answer to a simple yes or no Question?

Question: I have been in Hospital with High Blood Pressure and a very High and fast heart Rate. They said it was my Asthma that was causing the above to be so high.
I asked them if it was my heart that was the problem. The reply was don't know.

I then asked if they could treat the problem, they said they could'nt as they didn't know what was causing it.

So I have now been discharged from hospital, with the condition still the same.

Answers:
cause you'll sue them if they're wrong...Attorney's do the same thing...plausible deniability and vagueness are unfortunately required these days
