How to decrease body odor? What to use? What to eat? What not to eat?

Question:

Answers:
Good healthy food.

Not too much onion, garlic or curry if you and those you care about find those odors too strong or repugnant, or if you're one of those people who sweat the smell of those foods out the next day after eating them (when you've already showered since having them!)

Good all-over hygiene. Washing all the potentially smelly bits at least once a day (pits, privates, feet..) or in some cases more often.

Wear clean clothes (esp. always fresh underwear and socks, and sniff-check a bra if you're thinking of putting it back on - esp. the part that runs under your armpits). Cotton underwear beats polyester.

Know the difference between deodorant and anti-perspirant. Deodorant usually masks any odor. Antiperspirant not only covers any odor, but seriously reduces how much you sweat, so there's less moisture for smelly bacteria to grow in in the first place.

And, if you're into any alternative types of things at all, you could try adding some chlorophyll to your diet. It is sold in many health food stores in liquid form (often with perppermint flavour added), and you can try taking a small amount diluted in a glass of water once or sevral times a day. It's nature's 'internal deodorant', working from the inside to reduce toxins that can cause odors.
(I love the taste..I often drink cold water with chlorophyll/mint concentrate added, instead of sweetened drinks.)

Taking frequent bath using anti bacterial soap. Good personal hygiene. Wear clean and comfortable clothing. Put on nice smell talc powder and perfume. Not to forget armpit deodorant. For food, don't take alcohol and gaseous food (e.g. too much onions)
Everyone's different, but i find eating garlic makes me smell, and also after drinking alcohol/smoking. Drink lots of water then your skin doesn't have to do all the work of excreating the toxins in your blood stream. I use a natural deoderant (with no aluminium or alcohol) that is based from the rock crystal deoderant. I find this to be the best. Even when i eat healthy, i still smell and cos i work in an office - that's not a good look (/smell - ha ha). I'm in Australia and can tell u where I get it from. I've tried them all and this is the only one that's worked for me - and for long durations - only have to put on once a day. Hope that helps!
Aloe can also help, I liked the other all natural comments alot, so this just adds to that. You can take aloe internally to cleanse the the body of toxins that may be causing unwanted smells, and aloe will also help externally as it kills bacteria. email me for the internal aloe, i know where to find it.
body odor eh? first dont use antiperspirants as it causes cancer, secondly trim the hair where you find the most perspiration, =) guys do it all the time, trimming their armpit hair is a must.cuz . its just horrible. besides it just becomes a forest after a few weeks >< shudders*
