there is a product called Numbzit.It's usually used for babies who are teething. It might work. Check the isle where they sell baby stuff. Please be careful! Use only a clean needle and clean the area before and after. There are things you can buy to disinfect AND numb, but I'm not sure what the brand names are. Look for something with a -caine in it. For instance solarcaine, lidocaine and novacaine are all pain relivers. Look for something with that suffix.

I get lidocaine (sp) from the pharmacy, its a topical analgesic but I don't think it can be used on open skin. This question would be best to ask a pharmacist

Oral anesthetics that contain benzocaine might do something for ya. Crushed aspirin would probably help a little. Ice cube to the area will also help a bit. If you happen to be a drug user and have some cocaine, it is a very powerful topical anesthetic; it has been used medically in the past.

Lidocaine solution is what a doctor would use, injected hypodermically with a syringe and needle. I wasn't aware that you could get it at the pharmacy without a scrip, though. Lidocaine solution comes with or without epinephrine in it. Don't use epi on your toes, though, cuz it restricts circulation.
