how can you stop your eyes watering/hurtin. when you're tired?

Question:

Answers:
of course, the most obvious answer is to sleep. However, we are sometimes bogged down by work that adequate sleep is impossible. hence, i will suggest that you do some eye exercises. Or you can try applying a cold compress to your eyes (a towel soaked in cold water). then try taking short 2 mins breaks from the computer screen or your books at 30mins intervals and look at some distant objects to relax the eyes muscles.

Believe it or not, you have dry eyes. There are some drops you can get for this from the chemist. Called something like Fake Tears. Just ask for them and try them. Your eyes will stop watering, I promise. i have done many hours of welding metal.. i know what you're suffering from my own experience of accidentally looking at the ultra violet bright arc of the light produced when welding.. its more painfull than looking directly at the sun and you go temporarily blind for a few minutes then when it starts to fade away everywhere you look you can see a little white dot.. after a few hours youre fine . until bedtime.. it stings so bad when you wake up after a few hours sleep its unbearable . this symptom is as all welders know out there as arc eye.. However this can be caused by looking at other ultra violet lights that are very bright like t.v , special house hold plant lighting, or even going from a dark area to a sunny day outside. eye drops and eye rest 5 minutes every hour for a week or two was my solution and believe me i had it almost as bad as it gets .. click on these web sites for more" insight "
