Purple spot on my lip?

Question:

I have a prple spot on my lip, it looks like a freckle sorta, can you get them on your lips? Can it come from breaking your lip, because I have done that a couple of times too.

I don't think it is a freckle only because it wonld'n be purple. Those spots are usaully caused by biting, pinching or breaking you lip.

The purple spot is probably a mole. I have one also. You can have a dermatologist remove it if it bothers you or if it changes shape the same way you would any mole.

it could be a bruise, a mole or a symptom of herpes the only way to know for sure is to go to the doctors.
