I've got Osgood Schlatter's Disease (knee problem) and it should have gone away by now. How come it hasn't?

Question:
I've had it for five years now and it should have been gone by now. I've got it on both knees and it's annoying. Why hasn't it gone away?

Answers:
It takes a while for it to stop hurting, and you can expect to have bumps on the front of your knees due to Calcium buildup the rest of your life, but eventually the pain will stop.

I've got it too, and I've had it for about five years as well. I don't think it ever goes away. Mine doesn't hurt anymore, it just looks funny.

use the inside of aloe leaf every night..you should see the change in few weeks It is well past time for a 2nd and 3rd opinion. See a Chiropractor or Naturopathic Physician - someone that will work to find the CAUSE of your knee problem. Best wishes and good luck.

I have a friend who has had it her entire life, and it never goes away, that I know of.

It really doesn't ever go away, but if you have had knee injuries since having it, it will make the Osgoods Schlatters worse and degenerative. I also have it in both knees and need a knee replacement on my right knee.
