Just because your girlfriend has lost her family it does not mean she should get asylum here. Only people whose lives are in danger in their own country qualify for asylum. As for you wanting a holiday on the national health, you should be happy that you are being paid not to work because you are ill? There are a lot of people who are ill and cannot afford a holiday and there are those who struggle to work who consider that being paid to be at home is holiday enough. It has nothing whatsoever to do with being emigrant friendly or not.
