Can you snort Ativan?

Question: I have been prescribed ativan for a couple diff reasons. I was wondering if it can be snorted instead or swallowed. Don't wanna do anything that's gonna be harmful..

I crushed it once and tried it. Its very uncomfortable to do, leaves a burning sensation. Best results are to take it as prescribed.
