What causes sharp pains in left the left side of the brain?

Question:

Sharp pain in left side of the head/brain. Seems like a headache after pains, doesnt last long. Sometimes blurred vision in left eye. Very painful, feels like left side is going to bust.

Possibly a blood clot which could be the first signs of a stroke.

Hi,, hmm,,, sounds like you need to see the eye doctor,,,, have an eye exam , make sure you dont have glaucoma .. if that is not it, you need to have your blood pressure checked, and tell your doctor about what is going on.
Try some Naprosin, it helped me with my headaches.. they never could determine what caused mine, they just went away.. but my scalp was sore to the touch. after they happened.

That happens to me too! Only sometimes, not too often. Once a month maybe?
I went to the dr. who told me that headaches come in all shapes and sizes. He said that even though it doesn't last long, and doesn't seem like a typical headache, that is what it is. Just a brief "headache", and nothing to worry about.
I'd go to the dr., just to settle your mind, and get proper diagnosis. Other things that cause sharp pains like that (and blurriness) can be aneurysms, clots, improper vision prescriptions, migraines, tumors in your head cavity. etc. Get it checked.
