Is Glucosamine/chondroitin cream effective in building vertebral discs?

I'm not sure about Glucosamine/chondroitin... It has been medically proven to be as effective as ibuprofen to reduce inflammation of joints with arthritis, but proof it rebuilds cartilage has yet to be truly seen (that doesn't mean it doesn't help in the process, but it may be hard to prove. I. E. just because the medical establishment hasn't proven its utility doesn't mean it doesn't work.)

I've heard some good reports about Hyaluronic Acid, although I'm not sure its benefits.

Of course, I just realized your talking about a cream.. all the stuff I've talked about is oral.
