undissolvable stitches?

Question:
i had to have 6 undissovable stitches put in my foot 2 weeks ago, how long can they stay in for and will it hurt when they come out?

Answers:
Undissolvable sutures or stitches normally remain in the skin on the top of the foot for 14 days until the skin fully approximates or heals.
On the sole of the foot 21 days or 3 weeks is necessary to permit full healing. Upon removal of these sutures you should feel a pinch with minimal discomfort.
It all depends on how many you have sometimes it is 1 week soemtimes ........sometimes 3 weeks.......and it feels weird but it doesn't hurt!
