How do you get rid of excess gas?

Question: How do you get rid of excess gas. I have had this problem for about a week. It's not like i can get away with it because it literally smells like something died.

Gas X is a good over the counter med for gas. It use to be only prescription. Simethicone is the generic name. It's less expensive and works just as well.
