After being on a 4 year addiction to Hydrocodone, and quiting (CT) 1 month ago, how long to exit the body?

Question:
after a 4 year addiction to hydrocodone, and quiting (CT), how long does it take to exit the body, and when does the tweaking go away?? and the urge to start again?

Answers:
congrats! Most drugs are out of your body in 72 hours. that doesn't mean your desire for them will be gone, though. I'm not sure what you mean by 'tweaking'. the urge to use will vary from person to person & from day to day for each person. I found support groups like AA to be of little help--they actually made me want to do my drug of choice more--all those "drunk-alogues"
Professional counciling helps, if you can afford it or find some cheap/freebie help. Get interested in something else--a 'healthy addiction" if you will. Exercise, a special tea, a new hobby, etc.
Good luck.
