Some medical information pls?

Question:

Yesterday I cut 2 fingers in my PC case while trying to remove a back plate and I had to call an ambulance to stop the bleeding. At the hospital they put some stitches and a plaster so that I won’t move my fingers. Also the doc prescribed some antibiotics. Does anyone know how long is the recovery period and how do I prevent an infection?
The cut was about 3mm deep and 2cm across :(

Did they not give you any discharge instructions from the hospital? Keep the area clean and dry and take all the antibiotics (as directed). If the area becomes red around it or/and has red streaks from it, call your doctor. When did they say to come back for a wound check and then to have the stitches removed? It will take several days-weeks to fully heal. Make sure you follow your doctor's instrucions.

Take the antibiotics till they are gone and wait till your doctor says the stiches can come out. This is really a question you should have asked the doctor in the ER.
