what are the symtoms of withdrawls from pain medicine?

Question: my husband has been on a variety of pain medicines for over 2 years and has just stopped taking them cold turkey, He is having trouble sleeping and is vomiting alot. He is also very depressed I am concerned that it is due to stopping the pain pills.

Answers:
Those would be very blatant signs of withdrawl. Drugs like that shouldn't be stopped cold turkey. He needed to weaned off of them.
