Answers:
The correct word is ectopic, but you need to talk to your doctor about this. We can't diagnose here. Best of luck, sorry.

i do have a tyroid problem i was born without one and your symtoms sound like you might you should go to your doctor and ask for a T3 T4 and THS test to check your levels if it is a throid problem it can be treated with a daily pill dont worry just go see your doc
Well, I'm taking a wild guess here, but I'm pretty sure that the "flutter" in your chest and the neck problem are unrelated. You may have a problem with both, but I doubt they are connected.

My first reccomendation is to see your MD about the heart problem. Chances are that it is nothing or something than can be taken care of pretty easily. The heart is a very touch organ. I'm not going to get into the details of how it works (we'd be here all night) but if this has happened more than once it needs to be checked. As for the swollen neck, it could be a million thing, including the thyroid, but problems of the endocrine system are usually very treatable.

In either case you just need to see and MD because no amount of talking of the problem can tell us what it is.

And here comes the standard diclaimer: If you have and sort of chest pain or any form or tightness in the chest with or without trouble breathing, call 911. No, I'm not just trying to drum up business for myself. Lke I said earlier, the heart is a touchy organ and the tiniest little things can cause big problems so never dlay in calling 911. At the worst they will get there, put you on a heart monitor and have an idea of wether it is serious or not. You can still refuse to be transported after they get there. It's always better to find out than just wait and see.
For general thyroid info. go to www.ngdf.org and click on their BB. This site is monitored, has medical doctors available for the staff to question and you can talk with knowledgeable people who want to help. A cardiologist is your best bet for a proper diagnosis. Good Luck!
