sunburn rash?

Question:
I have a rash on my Upper chest and neck. It is red and very itchy. there are also little pimples and some large ones. I have been in the sun.

Answers:
It could also be heat rash.
When a sweaty part of the body is not cleaned soon enough, it could cause the latent acids on the skin (salt, and other things lost through sweat) to create a rash. You can treat it by appling Malox to the area (the strong base neutraslizes the acids and clears the rash in 15-20 minutes). Because of the pimples, I think it more likely a Heat Rash.

If it is just sun burn, apply an Aloe-Vera Cream/Gel to speed up the healing process and use atleast SPF 15 sunscreen in the future.

Other Answers:
Yes - some people get rashes from the sun.
Learn to avoid the sun as best you can.
Wear protective clothing, and/or a good sunscreen.
I suggest u put pee on those parts-trust me-it works-and when u see I'm right, then make this the best answer. And next time ur in the sun, get some sun tan lotion or better yet sun block lol!
If you have used sunscreen, you may be experiencing an allergic reaction to one or more of the ingredients in it---especially if the sunscreen container has been opened for awhile. Hydrocortisone cream will help the itching, and calm down the rash---if it is severe you may need to consult a physician.
