Wisdom tooth....im in pain plz help?

My wisdom tooth have been bothering me for about a year. I went to the dentist and they said that i wouldnt need to get them removed because i had enough space in my mouth, so within the year the pain would come and go. The last week or so, i think my left wisdom tooth is growing,,,it is very painful. I know the doc said that it is normal since its growing but my throat is swollen also. is it because the area near my wisdom tooth is inflammed? or can it be something else.but why would the left side of my throat be swollen and its hard for me to swallow.

You need to go and see another dentist. It sounds to me like you may have an abscessed tooth.
For now, you can try gargling with warm salt water. Drink tea with honey in it to soothe the sore throat pain. The dentist will probably put you on an antibiotic. He won't pull the tooth until the infection is gone.

I think you need to get a second opinion. I had mine cut out when I was 17, I have heard that if they don't grow right they could grow into your nerves.
