I am an adult now, but I still need your help.?

Question:
Im in college now and I got a cold. I went to my 9am class and my nose was running and crap. I had to go to the dining has,get tea and then get advil. I took two tablets and went to sleep for about 5 hours (sadly missing Poly.Sci) but only because I knew I was gonna fall flat on my face if I went to that class sick.
I have a class at 3pm ( in 45 mins) and although I am up, yellow stuff keep coming outta my nose and mouth (mucus) and I am sweating. I have a friend in my 3pm who knows Im sick and offered me her notes (bless you donna!) but I feel guitly for missing classes, I mean , think of all the people who dont even have an opportunity like mine, and I remember when my mom was going to college, even when she was poor, sick and tired she still went.
I am sensible enough to tell Im not well, but the option of still doing what I was sent at college to do ( go to class) bugs me.
HELP!!!!!!!

it started with a sore throat to me being here! =(

Answers:
Honestly sweetie, you seriously need to go see a doctor, get some meds, and stay the hell away from people! That's why so many college kids get sick all the time, other kids won't stay at home or in the dorm when they are sick. See the doctor and get some meds! It could be something minor like a sinus infection or more serious like a cold or the beginnings of the flu. But, don't feel guilty for staying out of class. You can't help it if you're sick and other people will appreciate you more if you just stay home. Get well soon!
I think you should suck it up and go to class, a lot of important information is given in the class which your friend may already know therefore she probably wont record it. If your still feeling horrible then go see a doctor later. If you miss 2 classes (you already missed 1) you will feel as though you have aterrible amout of work to make up. So suck it up and go! Your right a lot of people don't have the opportunity that you have so milk it for all its worth. "You dont go to school to get and education, you go to get a degree" - Some wise lady
