what to do with dog bite?

Question:
my dog's front paw got caught in my other dog's collar, and they were running around scared. my mom went to get the paw out, and my dog sort of bit her. there are 3 raised bruises on her arm but her skin isn't broken. she's rinsed it with peroxide. what else do i need to do?

Answers:
keep the area clean. wash it twice daily with warm water and mild soap (ivory or dove work best). you can apply a thin layer of neosporin to the area to help ward off infection but since the skin isn't broken the risk is minimal.

she can take ibuprofen for the pain and swelling. 200-400mg every 6 hours but no more than 1200mg in 24 hours.....

she can also apply ice if the swelling is not going down or if she's in alot of pain...

Other Answers:
the skin didn't break so you should be ok but the rest is bruises so you really can't do anything for that.
put ice to site and apply triple antibiotic ointment
Just make sure the dogs have had there shots.
Bite the dog back.
If the skin isn't broken and her arm isn't broken (she'd be really hurting if it was), you just need to wait for it to heal. She could put ice on it to prevent swelling.
As long as it's just bruises, they'll go away on their own. Make sure that the peroxide didn't bubble when she poured it on. Otherwise, she's in danger of many different diseases and should call your doctor.
If the skin is not broken, then do not do anything.
nothing it should be fine.
