what is the side affects of loritabs?

Question:
what can prolong useage do to your body

Answers:
Lortab is essentially vicodin or norco.

When you take it for a prolonged period and you become dependent on it, stopping it abruptly will result in withdrawls - nausea vomitting abdominal cramping diarrhea sweating insomnia.

Taking too much of it >6-8 tabs per day can cause Tylenol poisoning ie liver damage and potential liver failure. If you are not use to the hydrocodone and take alot of it this can result in respiratory depression ie stop breathing.

Typical side effects (if you are following doctors instructions) include lethargy, dizziness, constipation, in older people mental confusion.

Other Answers:

My husband abused this drug and he messed up his sinuses and nerve system. I believe that if used as prescribed, you will experience fatigue and dizziness at times and you should not drink alcohol. Over time, you may feel the need to up your dose.
There are other pain methods out there like massage therapy and chiropractors, so remember your options.
