I'm going to say no. Let me explain. I've come accross people who were too obsese to excercise. I can think of one woman last year who had to lose 40 lbs before she could even think of adding walking to her routine, because she would wear out just walking to the door. If took a while, but she got to that point. Once she was able to add excercise, things sped up. The keys are balanced nutrition - you still need all of your protein, vitamins, minerals and essential nutrients. Water is a big big must!
not necessarily. i lost weight without exercise. i just followed a diabetic diet that i heard about.
