i bit my tongue and its not stop bleeding ? does any body know i can cure it ?

Question:
i accidentaly bit my tongue. and i tried so much ice on it already. does any one know what else i can do that. plz help .........

Answers:
Take a regular (Lipton) teabag, wet it under the tap, and apply it to the bleeding area for several minutes. Bleeding should stop. Tastes very bitter, but tannic acid in tea is a vasoconstrictor and will stop minor oral bleeding

Other Answers:
try putting salt on it...might hurt but i think it will stop the bleeding
Dunno, Try Betadene Mothwash or water
run some cold water on it. and keep alot of presure on it with a cool wet towl.
if it hasn't stopped bleeding soon, you have have to head to the ER for stitches. You might be swallowing more blood than you're seeing...so you're at danger of losing some serious blood. There's really not much you can do yourself unless you can apply pressure somehow.
try putting a moist teabag on it, teabags contain astringents that will make the bleeding stop painlessly, and they taste good :P (better than the blood does anyway)
Do NOT put salt on it.

It will stop bleeding quickly on its own.

Use anbesol (toothache pain killer) for the pain. The pain will also go away in the short term.

So if you don't have anbesol readily available, the pain will be gone by the time that you take to go get it.
try listerine
DO NOT USE ANBESOL that is for teeth follow the dentists answer or mix a salt-water solution up and swoosh it around in your mouth then SPIT IT OUT EVERY Minute until the bleeding stops. If any skin came off when you bit it, and the bleeding doesnt stop in 5-8 min, go to the er for stitches and keep pressure on it!!!!hope you feel better
