why does this happen?

Question: The thing is I still have an oval shaped face the summer before. But then right now it seems that the shape has change to a more squared shape. I know that as a teen matures his/her facial shape may change, but then doesn't it happen gradually? and not like in a few months? Cuz now that i look at the pics of myself before the summer , the facial shape has change so much. My face has gotten so much wider and the jawline much more prominent and angular. Now when i compare myself now and back half a year ago my head looked SO MUCH bigger. Do you think that this may due to a medical condition? by the way i am 18 yr old.

Even at age 18 you are still growing a little,also..have you gained weight? Do you drink alot of Beer? These are all things that might add to the larger "face". Look back at the past year or more..what has changed in your diet?

Maybe you gained some weight, some people gain weight in the face and it will make it look more round or square looking
