Do I Have A Cold Or The Flu? [Details]?

Question:
Tempature of 86.4 degrees
Cough
Sore Throat
Stuffy [BUT NOT RUNNY] Nose
Tired
Cold Chills [even when outside in sun]

I fathom that the above symptoms are due to my change in schedule because of school.. I'm getting up earlier and not sleeping as much as I did during the summer.

These symptoms developed slowly, starting with a sore throat around two days ago and the other symptoms followed.

Help! I need to know if this is just stress induced or if I'm actualy sick

Answers:
The diffenetiating factor between a cold and the flu is that the flu is often characterized by "malaise"...the creepy-crawly feeling on your skin and body aching. Runny or stuffy noses are more common in colds. Yet, the only true way to tell is with medical testing. Both are caused by a virus, so the best thing to do is to keep yourself hydrated and rest until the symptoms subside.

Other Answers:
It sounds like a cold. Take some advil cold and sinus and drink lots of OJ. You should feel better in 2 days.
ur temp is below normal you could have a cold so try to get some rest and if the sore throat cont. call your doctor case u should have strep
Generally a 'cold' presents symptoms above the neck, any other symptoms below your neck such as chills you described could be indicative of the flu. Feel better! :)
