does getting a colonoscopy hurt?? wat does it feel like? how old were u when u got it done??? or anything bout a colonoscopy plzz tell ???

I has one earlier this year. I'm 59 years old. They sedated me, I was out cold for the entire process. My wife drove me both ways. It didn't hurt because I was sedated.

Never had one but am familiar with the procedure due to medical setting.

You won't know it happened.

I went thru this process when I was 70.. watched the entire process on the monitor. Was something I had not seen before. If you stay relaxed, there is no pain... there may be a bit of discomfort when they have a problem getting around the flexure but, is only for a very short time.
