When you have a stuffy nose, why do your nasal passages clear up when you get up or go up a flight of stairs?
I have a cold and a stuffy nose. And I notice whenever I get up from either a sitting or laying down position, or go up stairs they clear up for a couple minutes.

All the blood runs down into your legs for a minute. Then your heart pumps it back up into your face.
