why do people still fill an itch when there leg or arm is missing?

Because your body isnt used to missing that part so sometimes you still think that it is there.Then after a while your nerves in the part that is left will trigger something in your brain and it makes you think that it is itching when it isnt really there.I onle know this because I have a friend that is missing a leg from a lawn mowing accident, but that is what your answer is....good luck

I don't know but I had my teeth knocked out in a car accident and when I eat ice cream I still get that cold feeling & my teeth aren't real it's really wierd.
