Hey All you Medical assistants/LVN's I have a question....?

Question:
I attended a med assistant course in 1987 and graduated and became a Medical Assist. I attended LVN school in 2002-2003 and became an LPN/LVN in California. I want to get my "Certified Medical Assistant" certificate ...How can I get certified.????as an MA? Can I? is it possible? I want to be able to work in a Physicians office as a CMA., I'm finding that LVN's (according to most R.N's and Doctors) are Least Valued Nurses......No R.N.'s need to respond please. I have yet to find one that has treated me well.

Answers:
Why can't you study and become what you want to be? You are certainly young enough to go back to school, but that is true at any age. Good luck. Write back when you are finished with that.

One thing I found in my work experiences, there is always somebody in the office who is 'out to make your life miserable'. Just ignore those people and do not let anybody chase you out of your job. You are just as good as anybody else.

Just one thing in defense of RNs. My daughter is an RN. They have such a responsibility. If they do anything the slightest bit wrong they can loose their license; therefore, they are very tense. They do not mean to be mean to you, so do not take it personally. Hard, I know, but the medical profession is very hard to work in.
