After 24 hrs. of delivery, I had a cesarean. My newborns right arm has less strength than the other. Why?

It sounds like a Brachial Plexus injury, or Erbs Palsy. If the baby had shoulder dystocia, where the shoulders got stuck in the birth canal, or if it was a traumatic birth due to the doctor's handling, then the baby's nerves controlling the right arm could have been damages. Sometimes it's permanent, but there are therapeutic exercises and possibly surgery to help correct the damage. Have your pediatrician examine your child to be sure. You can get more information and a point in the right direction.

He probably is left handed and has used it more in the womb. He is okay and quit thinking that you have a lawsuit on your hands.
They may have pulled him out with that arm. A friend of mine had a baby who was pulled and some of the muscles in his arm were destroyed.
Could be a Brachio-Pelexsis (probobly not spelled right) injury. We have a friend whose grandson was injured during his birth. His arm is very weak(don't remember which one). Sorry I don't know more but your question made me think of our friends grandkid. GOOD LUCK

Thats actually natural, one arm could have been used more than the other int the womb, the same with the legs etc. Your child is probably going to be left handed and with all hope perfectly healthy. I dont even see a reason besides being a concerned mother to worry about it. Read up a little online and you will see that things like this are common.
Well, given the long labor, the likelihood of the hospital intervening in ways that were harmful to baby, and then the cesarean, I suppose there could be a birth-related injury.
However, the child could merely be left-handed. Some kids show a preference VERY early, even at birth or before.
