No, I don't think so - I would go to the doctor and make sure you don't have an infection of some sort.
NO, go to a Doctor!
Not that I know of and none of my friends that have babies have said anything to me. You may have an infection. See your doctor.
No just being postpartum will not change the odor of your vagina. The most likely cause is a yeast or other type of vaginal infection. These are all two common after childbirth. Try some monostat.

People do have a different body odor, depending on their body constitution. If you've delivered a baby, going to 1year, and you continued experiencing some foul odor, You must examine yourself. Check the color of your urine, notice it is cloudy or foul smelling, you could be suffering from urinary tract infection. It might be a new onset, or may have been there for a while. You also will need to check your blood glucose, You could have been diabetic without paying attention to it during the pregnancy. Remember, germs thrive well in a sweet environment. The earlier you can find the causative factor, the better it would be for you to prevent further damages.
The final thing that you might have to check for is the potential for a cervical growth. Good luck.
