Does anyone know some good physical therapy for displaced ribs?

First you want to make sure that they are not broken! I f you have not been to the ER I would suggest starting there. However if you have already, and they just sent you home with pain killers, I would suggest ice packs for the first 48 hours 20minutes on 40 minutes off. Longer if you can take it, and not so long as to cause frost bite. DON'T move any more than is absolutely necessary. Try to stay sitting. I know this can be a problem, but laying down will aggravate the problem, because when you go to get up again it will pull. After the first 48 hours flip flop between hot and cold, same time lengths. Use the pain killers(if you have them) sparingly. They can make you feel too good and you will end up hurting more later. Use Ibuprofen for every other dose. That is about it. Keep movement to a minimum for at least a week. I hope this helps. It did for me.

you need to see a physical therapist, one that specializes in manual therapy, they can put the ribs back into place and give you exercises to keep them from becoming displaced again.
