I wake up with a little headache almost everyday and it wont go away til I take Excedrin- whats causing this?

Question:
I work in front of a computer wearing a headset all day and I've heard that might cause headaches but I dunno--
Has anyone had problems like this before and how'd you take care of it?

Answers:
waking up with a headache can sometimes indicate caffeine withdrawal.

Excedrin has caffeine in it.

do you drink caffeinated beverages in the day?

if so, while you are sleeping, your body is not getting that buzz and when you wake up, your brain is screaming out for a caffeine fix.

I'm right.

Other Answers:
Try a new pillow
You may be getting too much sleep...too much sleep can cause headaches.
Waking up with a headache probably has nothing to do with your computer and headset. You should have your blood pressure checked and your glucose checked.
It could be the computer. See about having one of those screens put over the monitor that cuts down on the harshness of the glare. Cool washcloths on the eyes helps soothe them and can help with the headaches. Also, if you work in front of a computer all day, don't go home and sit in front of one all night because you are straining your eyes and causing the headaches.
I had that exact problem, the only solution is to get your eyes checked, you will probably need glasses,if glasses,or contacts,do not work go see an Ophtalmologist, they can tell you it is eye related and not sight related.
I was once in a position like that I had a headache upon waking up everyday. I thought it was the job just like you. There are a few things to consider Excedrin has caffine and it could be a withdrawl or also a rebound headache from the pills. Another thing to try is a different pillow could be your neck or allergies. It will take a while to figure out.
You may be dependant on the Excedrin, or something in it, like the caffiene. Try drinking coffee. Then again, it could be other things.
maybe you should try other meds to help with your headache or go for a walk when you get one in a peaceful place. i know how you feel. maybe also it may be something to dowith your eyes.
talk to your doctor if you wake up every morning with a head ache he may one to test your blood sugar
